I discovered today by accident that British Airways has a small but fascinating museum charting its history. This is in their head office at Waterside, and admission is free (but has to be booked in advance, open office hours only).

Waterside is ~10 minutes from Terminal Five, and a layover of four hours or more should be long enough to fit in a visit. I'll be engineering one next time I travel through there :)

I develop Superior Solitaire when I'm not procrastinating on boards.ie.
