Question on adding leaner category to full licence

    I have a full B license, need to get a BE learner permit so I can then do the BE test.
    My question is: is the learner permit added to my existing license card, or am I issued a separate leaner permit card? i.e. do they take my full license when I apply for the new permit and send me a new one with both on it?

    It's separate. You keep your full licence and you'll be issued with a learners permit for the category you have applied for.
