House with no cold water tank in attic or hot water Cylinder?

I'd be grateful for any views on this. We viewed a house that has the water turned off and the kitchen removed so only feed pipes and waste in situ. House has been empty for a number of years but was renovated prior to being empty.

However I think the person who owned the house may have spent some time abroad as the fittings kind of support this i.e. bidet in Bathroom, no bath but shower and some other bits and pieces.

When we viewed there is no hot water cylinder in the house or no provision for one anywhere. The garden is totally overgrown and not accessible at the minute but I do think I a pipe going through a duct and into a small shed adjacent to the back wall. Also no cold water feed tank in attic (Attic Space accessible and used as storage).

I had a good nose around and All I could see in the house are the feed pipes for the appliances placed in the floor in what was the kitchen. I dont see any hot press or means of heating or storing water.

Also the heating is by an Air Conditioning Unit on the back external wall with 2 internal units (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs), Could this be utilised to heat water currently?

I suppose I'm asking what kind of system could be in the house and would we need to budget to start again if we bid and are successful.

My working assumption is that there was provision for hot and cold water in the house when it was renovated but I don't have knowledge of what this system might be. All input/advice welcome.
