Old part of Shannon, not the prettiest but a quiet enough area from what I know. No idea about buses.

Generally a very quiet estate, a 3-4 minute walk to a bus stop. Another 2 minutes to the shopping centre.

I think it is every hour and about €10 return. Don't take that as fact however, it is a lot time since I was on a bus.

Cluain Airne is a quiet part of town, mostly owner occupied with some rented accom. I know of one guy living there who commutes to Limerick every day by bus so it's def doable.

No. I pay house insurance for a property there and have no problems. There was no flooding a couple of winters ago , when Lahinch etc were damaged, so unless the riverbank fails it should be fine up there

    Never.

If Cluain Airne floods then the rest of the country is in trouble.
