I am Getting to the end of a bit of home renovation.
We have some Ikea furniture that needs returning, mainly a mattress. I don't want to spent 80 quid on a van for a 20 min run (I literally live 20 mins from. Ikea).

Anyone know if it's possible To hire a van for an hour, of if there's someone who does van runs too and from Ikea?

In your situation I'd ring a few of these guys for a quote:

Google "man with van" in your area or look in the papers. Someone will happily do the run for a few quid.

The van rental companies are quite expensive.
Try the local ads for man with a van or ikea local deliveries.
€40 would be fair for door to door in Dublin

    Thanks for the replies.
Contacted a handfull of guys with a van from done deal. They all wanted 60+ quid for the single trip.
As i can get a van for the day from a standard rental company for 70 quid, i didnt go with any of them.
