I can't see a thread for this film just saw it tonight in the lighthouse. Didn't realise it was nominated for Two Oscars til after.

It is a little gem of a film funny, moving and hugely heartwarming really recommend it!

    Synopsis below

    A Man Called Ove (2015)

Ove, an ill-tempered, isolated retiree who spends his days enforcing block association rules and visiting his wife's grave, has finally given up on life just as an unlikely friendship develops with his boisterous new neighbors.

The book was a gem. Laugh out loud, and very sad in places too. I hope the film reflects that.
