    What did they say caused the last one?
    I'm thinking a manifacture fault or possibly the thermostat in your immersion has failed and the water is too hot causing damage

    This is one I've had in my own home for 8 years or so Immersion Timer

    boost for 30 min, 60 min or 120 min
