Please help, I need to rent a car from Stansted Airport without credit card?

    Can someone please help, I had car booked but just read the terms n conditions that I cannot pick up the car without credit card, I have no credit card, is there any company I can hire car without credit card?

    And I have no time to order credit card before I go.

    Some debit cards work, you just need to have enough money in the account for them to put a hold on (could be 3K).

    You will need a cash deposit of up to it over a grand, or a debit card with the same amount holdable (so not spendable) for a week or so

    Get a credit card for future use - they are valuable well beyond the stamp duty cost

    Ive hired a car with hertz using a visa debit card. No large deposit required.

    Somebody else could use their own credit card and name you as a driver. They'd be liable for any unforeseen costs though.

    Hi thanks, do u mind me asking how long ago was that and how much deposit did u have to give them, what documents did u need to have on picking up your car?

    I just rang Enterprise car rental and they said they accept visa debit, just have to pay £300 deposit.
