Paint garden walls help, colour blind :(

Hi everyone. So I have a nice patio out back that I've never really done anything with, but I gave it a big clean today. A friend was saying maybe a lick of paint would brighten it up. Like white and a tiny bit of blue. But I'm colour blind and I have a MASSIVE fear I'm gonna pick the wrong colours (it's happened before).

I've attached a picture for you can see the layout. Would white on the right wall, left wall and small shed be too much? Is white a good colour or is it too much space for all white?

And finally, I've never painted walls outside. What type paint should i be looking at, how many coats, primers an things like that.

The door to the shed is falling apart but I'm gonna fix that up at some point and was thinking I could paint that a blue type colour.

Thanks for any advice you can give!
