Door stay

    Hi guys

I have a uPVC side door on the house and I just bought a door stay restrictor for it. It holds the door open at 90 degrees and stops it swaying in a light breeze.

The mechanism itself conforms to the "eurogroove" norm and is designed to fit into a 16mm channel. So, thinking that my door would be the same I went ahead and bought it.

When it arrived and I offered it up I noticed that the groove on my frame is a couple of mm narrower and the stay won't fit in. The other part which attaches to the door itself does fit into the groove correctly.

Has anyone come across this before?
