    hello. i am applying for my learners permit. im 16 and have no bills or letters to my name. i live with my parents. how will i get proof of address to apply for my permit. i have no bank account or anything

    Ring them,tell them and ask what is acceptable.
    You wont be the first or last thats had this issue.

    You can definitely do it this way. It's an acceptable document to the NDLS for people in the OP's situation.

    No. The school letter is the back-door method designed specifically for young people who don't have much in the way of acceptable proofs of address. Have a look through the list of acceptable proof of address documents. Otherwise, the school letter is the best. It doesn't need to be from the principle or anything.
