    Hey there,
I have commercial van, taxed insured and used as such,
If I install a strongly tinted window in the side (on the sliding door)
will that void its status as a commercial vehicle?
I cant find much with google and thought some people who have done
commercial to camper conversions might be familiar with the rules?

my main concern is that it would somehow recalssify the van so i'm liable for vrt
or that it would fail its doe test because of the window

    Any thoughts?

You can't put a window in if it's a van. Only exception would be if it was originally VRTd as a car and then changed to van.
