    I would expect you can put the LAN address in equally well as putting in an external URL.

    Ya would think. I have also played around with the format of the playlist as well but nothing seems to work.

    Both boxes are on the same LAN segment?

    No firewall interfering?

    Hmmmm now you have me thinking. The Roku is on the wireless and the Sat box is wired but both still in the same subnet. 192.168.0.xxx

    I will check again to make sure they are not being treated as two separate subnets.

    There is in some routers a tick box to keep the wireless section separated from the wired section for security.
    That might be enabled if present.

    Cheers Johnny - checked that and it wasn't clicked.
    It's called wireless isolation on the Sky router but not enabled on mine.
