P50 Form

Hi, quick question. My husband started employment in a company last June 2016 and an offer of a better job with another company came his way in April (which he took). Now they have turned around and told him (and about 20 others) that there has been an unforeseen production downturn and they let the staff go this month. He was wondering about the P50 form, it states fill in the employer number, does he use the employer number of the company he left in April or of the company he was let go from in June? Or does it matter, does Revenue just calculate his tax paid from Jan to June regardless of where he worked?

    Any help much appreciated.

    Its the latest employer.

He has to include his P45 in sending in the P50, and the employer number will be stated on that.

    That's great thanks.

Another question, does he get tax back for the last 6 months Jan - June or is it just for the length of time he worked with the new company?
