I had the problem yesterday where I was making up brackets to mount a directional ariel to the wall and the power in the house was out, so i couldnt quickly plug in my dremel or grinder to quickly nip off the screws. I tried with all my might with all different sorts of pliers to cut them off with exceeding amounts of force but nothing did it, eventually i had to bend the bejesus out of them and snap them that way. Tools i tried were: NWS 6-in-1 VDE Supercutter (Which handles were bending almost closed i was squeezing so tight), NWS VDE Combi-Pliers 205mm, Stanley Fatmax 175mm Vde Diagonal Cutting Pliers, old CK combi pliers, Stanley end nipper, Large hacksaw that the blade BROKE while trying to cut it (fair enough it was a cheap poundshop one and i couldnt really get the right angle) , Stanley mini hacksaw wouldn't make a mark on it even by grabbing both sides of the saw and pushing on the ****er, maybe the blades are ****e and i need bahco ones or something. But yeah other than carrying around a big bolt cutters i'm looking for a hand tool that'll cut/nip off screws cleanly, and preferably flush

    Thanks.

I forgot to mention, they were machine screws about 2in. Also are these a waste of time http://www.woodies.ie/catalogsearch/result/?q=bolt+cutter Or would something like this suit / how thick of a bolt would these cut: http://www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk/kincrome-plier-x-force-diagonal-plier-200mm-388398
