    I'm looking to buy scrap lead to make fishing weights, where can I get some locally?

    Tyre centre, if you know someone working there.
    Truck tyre centre is better again, as weights are much bigger.
    My local place is going to keep them for me, after I explained about my nephew Lee and his hobby of making those little lead models of soldiers.

    (Edit, most places seem to throw them in a bucket and when it's full, bring them to a metal recycling place)
