Its 15 years since we last had sheep over the winter.
Looking at getting a few in this back end , keep the place trimmed.
Anyone able to tell me if theres any department money available?
    What doses they'd need? Etc
    Cheers

The Dept has a €10/ewe Sheep Welfare Sheep but it's closed now as far as i know. And as Tom said, they won't give money for nothing anyway.

Re doses: they'll probably need a fluke dose in Nov/Dec and possibly again in Jan/Feb/March if they're on wet ground. If they haven't been vaccinated for clostridia/pasturella, then they might need two shots for that too to cover them. This might be enough for ewes, but store lambs could need worm doses too - again depending on the type of ground, their age/weight, and what they're being fed.

Why do they give any money? To incentivise farmers
