Just wondering if there are any free payroll software out there? I know quickbooks used to for small businesses but can't seem to get it now?

Bright pay offer a 90 day free trial. If you like it after using for 3 months its quite cheap and you get customer support.
I have no affiliation but for me it's the best one.

Collsoft also offer a free trial, and I find it the easiest one to use (never used/heard of bright pay mentioned above though)

If you have employees and are going to use payroll software I think it's worth paying for a reliable one. Remember your commitments to Revenue and your employees about keeping correct records.

I have used Sage micropay and changed to Brightpay which I would recommend.
