Three Money charges for unused card

The 3Money card issued to me after O2 sold out has been sitting in my wallet unused ever since. I have a reason to use it now and wondered if they'll charge me for a year and a half of non use. They took the €1.29 I had left on the O2 card as a Monthly Service fee over Jan and Feb last year. If I stick €20 on it today will…

According to this looks like there's monthly fee of €1.25 unless you top up by €60 the previous month?

That seems a really bad deal?!

(though those T+Cs may not be the ones that applied when your card was issued)
