Hi, i have received a sterling cheque which I want to keep in sterling. I'm going to be in Northern Ireland next week, can I just walk into a branch and open an account there? Or can I do this from my local branch. Thanks.

    Hi inocybe

    Thanks for the post.

In this case you would need to contact a BOI branch in NI to discuss.

You can contact our team on 0800 0850 444 and an advisor will be happy to help you.

Please also see the terms and conditions here.

    Thanks

    Kareana
