200 is all its worth really in comparison to any of the other Chinese smartphones.

Seems to be micro-usb too which is a negative

I guess you have the added value of an Amazon warranty?

you wonder the value compared to the blackview p9, oukitel k6000 plus or ulefone power 2, all of which can be fulfilled by amazon and hence same protection

You could get the Huawei P8 Lite 2017 for slightly cheaper. Newer handset with slightly better spec, newer version of android etc

I would agree to an extent. I have had quite a few Chinese phones.
Smilar specs for similar prices, also sometimes even similar specs do not equal similar quality.
That said, Huawei will be an awful lot easier to sell when moving on, if that was an option.
Even Xiaomi are difficult to shift (used).
Blackview and Oukitel would be even harder.

I have the P8 lite, can't remember how long, over a year anyway. It will no longer connect to any wi-fi network, works fine on it's own data. Have brought it to several phone shops but no joy, no one can fix it and several tried. Apparently it's a well know problem with it :(

I never think of selling phones, I upgrade when last one needs the drawer

I hear ya, and i do the same (or i have given them away), but it is not a great trait.
A lot of waste. I should sell them on even for very little. It would go towards other phones and could allow somebody a decent phone within their budget.
Anyway, moot point, the Huawei has gone back up. (EDIT - Back down again but only to €213)
I am looking around for one i want, I am looking forward to Sailfish becoming more available, that is helping me make my decision.

Well you don't have the 2017 version since it was only released in January. It's hardly a fair comparison against a 30 month old phone. It's like saying that my old HTC one had problems taking photos in low light so the HTC u is a disaster.
