    Wife getting a new Hyundai I-10 (15k) and availing of 2.5k scrappage deal. (If you're not doing scrappage they'll take a grand off retail so scrappage is really 1.5k).

    Dealer says no room for negotiation when taking scrappage as it's already got 1.5k over and above normal discount.

    Inclined to believe them in this case. Just wondering if anyone has thoughts on whether I could get anything more...

    Ring around and see. They generally stick to the price but there's always one lad willing to do a deal for no profit.
