Trouble finding java job

    Hi All !
I'm posting this message because I would like some advice.
I am a java developer with 2 years of experience, and I'm looking for another job. I've been looking for a job for 2 months and for some reason I can't find anything that really fits my profile... My current job is quiet restrictive (old/legacy technologies), and because of that I have the feeling that recruiters are not interested.
Of course I tried to stay up to date with latest technologies by taking online courses etc, but it doesn't count as real experience - so I'm stuck...
I've sent 10/15 Cvs so far because I really want to find something interesting with new technologies, but I haven't received any positive response yet...
Can you please give me your point of view/advice ?
    Thanks !

Something sounds off - have you got anyone that could critique your CV?

Not really no, I think I will change the format completely but I only heard good things about my CV (from agencies)... Maybe it's because there are a lot of graduates looking for a job at the moment, I don't know honestly, I think it's strange.

This doesn't add up. Get someone to review your c.v. for starters. I would take what the agencies say with a pinch of salt. You have two years' experience in the sector, which trumps a graduate who has none; experience is everything. Also, I wouldn't be overly negative about the technologies your have been using.
