Don't Tesco do them? I'm pretty sure I've seen them in my local one. Either way, yeah, I like them.

No. Got them in tesco and won't do it again... the custard was like a tesco own brand custard and wasn't nice.
Had my first boston creme in dunkin donuts in rathmines 20 something years ago and it's a love affair that hasn't diminished. Except i couldn't keep dd open.

I only like custard cold. It's disgusting otherwise.

No to custard. No to doughnuts. No to raspberry jam. And no to peanut butter.

And the hole in polo mints taste nicer than the hole in doughnuts.

Yes to all doughnuts. You could fill them with crap and I'd still probably love them.

Obese, unshaven bloke just ran a flight of stairs on a sweltering day, beads of sweat running across his red, pock-marked face, gasping for breath.

Gets to the top, whips out a crushed custard donut that has been nicely baking between his wet arse cheeks in the back pocket for 3 hours.

Sinks the grimy teeth, still clinging to bits of chicken from lunch, into the hot donut and the pus-coloured liquid runs slowly down his double chins, the sweet viscous dessert meeting the salty sweat in a combination for the ages. Hmmmmmm

    Yeah they're alright actually.

Years ago on holiday in Ibiza, hung over one sunny morning about 9am I wandered off on my own for some alone time and walked passed a little bakery/coffee shop that looked derelict but had several locals coming and going.I went in and all I could see was these little tarts and I thought it must be their version of a jambon.I asked for 2 and sat on a wall and discovered that this was to be the highlight of that holiday.Lovely little custardy bastards is what they were.Spent about 100 quid on them over the 2 weeks I was there.

I had so many that after a big argument I spelled sorry with them beside the pool!

    Oh custard doughnuts...
I craved these during my last pregnancy, I would have to force myself to walk past them in Tesco. My girls (18, 15) would laugh their asses off at me nearly drooling in front of them. Baby is ten weeks old and I'd still sit and eat a packet of them. So I don't buy them.

Is a Portuguese Tart llike a Spanish Crumpet, only further down the Iberian Peninsula? ;-)

Oh...yes to the custard doughnuts though...

    No ..never.
If they're clearly marked I've no problem with them..its when you bite in to a doughnut and expect jam but instead get horrible cold stuff with the consistency of chest infection level phlegm squirting into your mouth...urrgh no. They need to be sectioned off and carry a warning
