Corrupted SD card

    I took a few photos today and when I got home to download them to pc it appears the SD card is corrupted. The thumbnail of the images are fine but when I try to open them I get the disaster shown below. Is there any way to rescue these photos or is it tough luck?

    Edit: When the card is put back into the camera I can scroll through the photos and they all look fine :confused:

    They should be OK. I would try a different PC or card reader

    Cheers lads they are opening fine now whatever the issue was it's sorted.

    That's a shame. As a fan of abstract photography I kinda liked them. :)
    I might try corrupting a card or two just for giggles.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.
