WTD: Road wheels for CX bike - disc

Please bear with me as I am new to this...

I have been told that changing 35c knobbly CX tyres to 25-28c tyres will make life easier when it comes to attempting long distances on road (I am hoping to do a bunch of 100k+ rides over summer). Given that I also ride along canal paths etc time to time, would it not be better to have another set of wheels that I can swap over quickly (quicker than changing tyres?)

So would anyone have a wheelset that could fit the bill? My bike is a Boardman CX Team - it has disc brakes, and 10 speed SRAM Apex yoke at the back..

    Thanks!

i actually have a set of cosine (wiggle own brand) wheels i've been meaning to list for a while now. had been running them as commuting wheels on my cx with 700*25 tyres before i sold the bike. i found them a massive improvement on the stock wheels tbh.

they come with a 10 speed cassette, think it's tiagra but would need to check.

Thanks, that sounds ideal, how much would you be looking for them?

PS: I was looking to pick up two 28c Schwable Marathon Touring tyres (green guard, 19 each in CRC at the moment) to fit the existing rims (Mavic XM319 it seems). I wonder if that would be another 'do it all' option?

i'd say €120 for the rims + rotors + cassette and €140 if you want the tyres and tubes. tyres are schwalbe marathon plus with not a huge amount of mileage on them.

Sounds fair. Where are you based?

Also.. figured out Boardman currently has Mavic XM319.. would anyone know how Wiggle Cosines compared to Mavic XM319. I am not mad about weight or anything, but read somewhere that XM319 is 490g each where as Cosines around like 1500 grams (which can't be right now that I think about it..)

490g looks to be the weight of the XM319 rim only, so spokes and hub will add to that, and this is what should be compared with the Cosines' 1500g (assuming rotors excluded from both)
