No Log Book

    Bought secondhand car at begining of month.
    Change of details sent off but no log book recieved yet.
    According to the motor tax site the log book details were changed on 7th June.
    Tax was out 31st May so needs taxing within a month of that date and I am now due to leave the country until later in July. How can I get it taxed after leaving?

    Tried that, wouldn't give one.
    Phoned local tax office and they recommended filling out a RF150 covering the period that I will be away and upto a max of 3 months.
    Can then tax when I return.
