    Hi folks,

How does one view their preapproved payments on their BOI account? For example, monthly membership payments like Netflix, etc. Thank you.

    Good Morning Chiloe,

Thank you for getting in touch with us here on Boards.ie.

If these payments are set up as Direct Debits, you'll be able to filter these out on 365 Online to distinguish them from other debits. For steps on how to do this just click here. If these payments are set up as what we call 3rd Party Direct Debits or subscriptions then you can use the 'Other Debits' option 365 Online when filtering the transactions. This option will display a multitude of debits including non membership transactions. This is because the instruction for payment is set up between yourself and the company and they do not notify us of membership for this. While on the other hand a direct debit is a formal instruction sent to BOI to release funds from your account to the company.

We do have several tools on 365 Online which might help you track these types of transactions for the future. The first is Money Manager which allows you to view and classify transactions over a wide number of categories. You can also use the 'export' option in the 'Statements' tab for recent transactions. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and you can click the 'Export' option. This will then transfer your transactions to an excel sheet which will allow you to arrange distinguish individual transactions.

I hope this information helps and if you need anything else, please don't hesitate to contact us again.

    Thanks,
    Elaine
