Has anyone got a Norse blind bearing puller set that I could borrow for a quick job. I can throw a few quid your way for the loan and it saves me a small fortune buying one for just a stuck bearing race. West Dublin, North Kildare area. Could travel a bit further around Dublin if someone has one. Puller set looks like this..

Bearing broken up ? if it's the outer race ( and it's not a tiny bearing ) ( and a bit of heat won't bother it ) put a few short runs of weld on it in the groove where the ball bearings used to run

The bearing will get loose as the weld cools down

Bearing still intact ? get some paper towel and wet it so its mushy, fill the hole with it, then get a shaft that is a good fit in the hole and hammer it in

I appreciate the advice but I need a blind bearing puller. Any ideas where I could borrow one would be great and save me a fortune buying one. Thanks.

Final call on this. I'm looking for a bearing puller like the one pictured above. Needs to have the wider fitting collet to fit the stuck race.

If anyone has one could they please let me know. Thanks.

    Sorted!

Thanks to Kenneth from Red Cow Gearbox Centre for whipping out the stuck race. Shout out too for Terry in Irish Garage Equipment for pointing me the right direction.
