Sorry about the delay, I really should have been on this one a bit earlier. Live link to the Paris Air Show

Apologies if this has been mentioned earlier.

NB: I really should have mentioned that for the 19th to the 22nd are trade days, and the public days are from the 23rd to the 25th. I would say that there might(and hopefully) be better coverage of the displays for the public days.

France 24 had a report from there - A380 to be stretched by 5M to give 80 more seats & be named A380+

    Will it happen ?

    Will it sell ?

I'm seeing reports on French websites that it is not a stretch A380. The 380+ includes a new pronounced vertical wingtip, reducing fuel use, and changes to the main staircase, allowing a higher passenger load. Not a totally new aircraft, but subtle changes.

The "will it sell" question remains though. Fuel economy and passenger mile savings talk, but can it talk loud enough?

Boeing launching the barely flying tailstrike, 737-10MAX

The 900 has trouble getting off the ground; even with whatever tiny landing gear extension they've given this and bigger engines it'll be very challenging.

Any guess as to how many souls would be required to crew one of these from, say, DXB to LAX ?

Ryanair orders 10 more 737Max (not that there was much doubt that they'd convert options to firm orders).

This is probably all we will hear from Ryanair at this trade show.

If Boeing could have enticed them to order 737Max10 during the show they would have succeeded by now.
