Cat problems! :(

    Hi there!

So, my kitten (well, now 7 months) has run into a few issues and I wondered if anybody could shed a little light.

He is a full-breed, no issues in his line or hereditary conditions. If any of you attended the Supreme Cat Show this year, you may have seen him! :)

His breath had started to get quite smelly and I noticed that he was experiencing teething issues at 6 months. His gums were quite inflammed and some of his baby teeth hadn't fallen out resulting in double canines etc. The baby-teeth did fall out in the end however. A trip to the vet and they gave him anti-biotic injections for his gingivitis. Whilst it has gotten much better, the gums are still minorly inflammed (3 weeks on!) though his breath has gotten much better.

I've noticed however over the last 2 days his appetite seems to be somewhat decreased and he's not eating his food. He looks and acts fine however. I did notice that he has defecated now twice (over two days) on the carpet. This is something he's never done before.

Anybody have anything to say or any recommendations? I'm thinking to take him along to the vet this evening again but i'm a worrier :)

If the gum is still inflamed I'd bring him back to the vet; could be a tooth not come out or a lose tooth or something like that causing problems.

Have him tested as well (blood tests). usually for teeth probs Steroids are advised as well
