I wonder could someone recommend a good tractor mechanic in the Longford/ Westmeath area to do a few jobs on a Ford 3000. I was badly let down earlier this year so the tractors been lying up for a good while and I don't want to be still without it in another six months time.

    I'm near Edgeworthstown.
Mostly steering and brakes but there's a few other things I'd like an opinion on too.

One fellow based next to Shoird Gaa pitch and another lives on the 'Old Road' off the Carrickboy to Edgeworthstown road (N55).

The Shoird man is an ex-Massey mechanic and the other takes all sorts.
Both are based at their house.

Hi OP - if you go into Granard, from Edgeworthstown, there's a filling station called Kearney's. There's a workshop there ran by Eamon & Gabriel Creamer, they may be able to help you (or if not, they'd point you in the right direction).
