Solar Water feature

    Asked about this in the aliexpress thread it's a solar powered water pump... Works out €34 delivered (could be waiting a few weeks)... Has anyone around here any dealings with these types of powered pumps...
    Don't want to go down the route of having an electric one... Just want something simple so as to hear the trickle of water and afaik this one has the capability of charging the battery too so when the sun isn't shining it should still work...

    Start by working out the flow rate and the rise, then spec your pump and find out how much power it needs.

    Then spec your panel.

    If you want it running other than in bright daylight you'll need battery and charge controller, which will make it expensive.

    Tbh you're better off getting a mains outlet wired in professionally, which you can use for other stuff like lights.
