Mr. Rod Munch is next on the hotseat so ye can ask him things!

If anyone else fancies it, just drop a post here.

Where did you get your user name?

    Fave film?

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

User name is from an episode of Beavis and Butthead.

Beavis told people his name was Rod, hehehe, Rod Munch.

Favourite movie of all time is John Carpenters Halloween, imho the best horror movie ever made.

Non horror would be a tie between Once Were Warriors and Pan Labryinth.

I dislike all real cats. Evil fcukers imo.

I do however love one fictional cat.

I'm not au fait really with world politics but from what I so know about him he is a lunatic. A very clever lunatic but a lunatic nonetheless.

I understand that you're quite the horror fan. Any recommendations?

    Hah, where to begin!

Depends on what sub genre you prefer but I'll throw out a few titles that I loved for various reasons, some years old, some more recent.

    The Devils Rejects
    Daddy's Little Girl
    American Guinea Pig : Bloodshock
    The Mist
    Deep Red
    Suspiria
    New York Ripper
    Cannibal Holocaust
    The Beyond
    Martyrs
    Inside
    Switchblade Romance
    I Saw The Devil
    Halloween (78)
    The Fly (86)
    Thanatamorphose
    Braindead
    The Hills Have Eyes (remake)
Last House on the Left (72)
    Phantasm (all 5 of them)

You suggested a few over a tGC pints once but who would have thought that those pints would have dimmed the aul memory. Did watch Tucker & Dale vs Evil though. Very good. Need to look at A Serbian Film at some point as well.

I don't think there's enough money in the world to get me to watch that

Reading the Wikipedia piece on it now. You may be right.

A Serbian Film is one of those movies that for me personally, the hype outweighs the effect.

The most infamous scene had me just scoffing at the screen, I just felt it was utterly preposterous and as such it had zero impact other than to raise hype for the film.

Something like Martyrs had a massive effect on me and stayed with me for days, ASF is just a poorly executed exercise in shock tactics for the sake of shock tactics.

Won €1000 in a poker tournament while in college, that's the biggest by a country mile.

As a Man U fan, what's the moment that stands out most for you since you started supporting them?

The 1990 FA Cup win. I vividly remember going into school the morning after the spotting a fellow United supporter and shouting 'hon United or something similar at him.

Little did I know the significance of that win and what it would mean for the future of the club.

I originally joined in 07 after a work colleague recommended it to me. Was here for a few years, ended up modding a few forums but then I was going through some stuff so closed my account.

Got bored after a while and opened a new account. It's the only forum I use (I was part of a small underground horror forum for a number of years but Facebook and spam bots killed it) and I have made some good friends on the back of it.

All in all, it's a damn good site imo.

I would like to ask the same question of each of the AMA contributors. Can you:

    *Read a map
    *Wire a plug
    * Cook at least one decent meal from scratch (pouring boiled water into a Pot Noodle doesn't count)
    *Sew a button
    *Hang a shelf
    *Change a tyre
    *Change a nappy
    *Whistle with your fingers
    *Jump start a car
