Looking at alternatives for a holiday the 2nd last week in July.

Never done a villa holiday but considering it.

    Requirements:

    - Short commute from Airport
    - Private Pool
    - Internet
    - Satellite TV
    - Min 2 Beds
    - Close to Beach, Shops, Restaurants
    - Views of sea/beach a bonus

    Any recommendations?

You might be leaving it a bit late to book one for the end of July. We go for a villa every year and usually book around early February. This year our top 2 choices were gone already.

Would you be renting a car or just using public transport? How many will be going?

Also what area of Spain are you looking at? And roughly what sort of budget? I've used holidaylettings.co.uk a couple of times and found them good - you can put in your search criteria and it will pull up available villas for you.

Was hoping to be close to airport so not renting. 3 people would be travelling.

Am open, shorter flight the better and close to a beach ideally. Budget for Villa 1-1.5k.

Hmm. You might struggle to find a villa for that price for the 2nd last week in July, but if there's only 3 of you going you would get away with a smaller one. That website I mentioned above is good. There's another one called ownersdirect that I've used in the past as well which also was good. I can't like because I'm on my phone but if you type that into Google it should come up.

In terms of area, I'm not familiar with any that are that close to the airport. We usually rent near Nerja which is an hour or so drive away from Malaga airport or else Granada airport. In previous years we rented in Tamariu on the Costa Brava but you'd definitely need a car for there.
