My other tread is closed so I'll finish the 100 bets with today's selection

    4:00 Doncaster

These sprinters is a game of trying to catch the graph at the right combination of price / mark and the point of improved form . The luck factor is huge in these races so a big price is essential . Today's roll of the dice is Aspan Sam . He has been running ok but not setting the world on fire for the last 18 months , and accordingly has dropped to a winnable mark . He has looked to have been improving with his 2 runs this year and maybe today is chance . 16/1 in this race looks value. If he shows any improvement he won't be far away .

    1 point win 16/1 gengerally.

With Rhododendron surprisingly going for the Prix de Diane today, Shutter Speed has become a backable price. Was as low as 10/11 ante post a couple of weeks ago, she's now 9/4 with Paddy. Rhododendron had a hard race in the Oaks, Shutter Speed should be a fair bit fresher than her.

Rhododendron was slightly unlucky in the 1000 Guineas but I still don't think she would have won. Winter has just gone and beat the same horses in the Irish version while Talaayeb who was 4th at Newmarket has been thrashed since. Rhododendron then was hammered by Enable in the Oaks who looks very good but I can't have the former as a non stayer. Alluringly who would have relished the Oaks trip wasn't closing on her and I'm just not sure she's that good. Shutter Speed back on better ground looks a good bet at 9/4.

    2:50 cork

pious Alexander looks worth a shot here at a big price . His 2 yo race is really good and the comparable form puts him right in the picture . 16/1 looks value .

    1 point win lads 16/1 14/1 generally

Rhododendron drifted from 7/4 to 6/1 before coming back into 2/1.

    Was pulled up very quickly
