I find them much better than the Mach3, almost the same difference as going from the disposable Bics to the Mach3.

Delivery to Ireland is free if your order is 10 pound or more so order 2 packs and it's free or else delivery is 3 pound. You can also collect free instore if you order just 1 pack, they have 6 ROI stores.

Yes their great super smooth shave, my only gripe with them is you can't (well I cant) shave the next day and sometimes the day after that! because they shave you so close.

That sounds like a dream. Can you tell me what cream and technique you use please, as even after a year of double edge shaving I still can't get a close and irritation free shave.

It's handy when ur lazy alright :D

I Just use dove soap old style, with a shaving brush. Skins even smoother using that soap, has good slide to it.

I just gave up after a half hour of messing around.

Leave it blank, it should auto populate to EIRE
Nah it's saying"please enter a valid postcode"  when left blank

You don't need a postcode. They deliver to the south.

    Did you try your eircode?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,014 ✭✭✭✭Corholio

I use Mach 3 most of the time and find them great, these are pretty good as well in fairness, but Mach 3 are still great and for me theres not much a gap to these ones, certainly nothing like the gap from bic to Mach 3. There's a reason Mach 3 are still sold and still sell very well.

Good bargain though, will definitely pick up a few.

Thanks op, perfect timing as I was on my last blade after buying 5 packs the last time they were on offer 18 months ago!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,587 ✭✭✭DesperateDan

Eircode should work fine. The site seems to become b*lloxed if there is a single error in the form. Suggest you back out of the form completely and go back in (rather than just correct the error).

I had a problem with the phone number. Format that worked for me was 00353xxx but as said only after backing out.

Change Union Jack up top to Irish flag, you will have no problem then with post code.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 68 ✭✭EntryDenied12

Lads can anyone link me to the actual razor for this, please!? Looks like a bargain alright!!!

Exactly. The flag is hidden in top left hand side of the screen. Change the flag before you input the address.

Not for Mr Crinklewood's dad it's not. Poor man is probably in tears tonight after waiting in hope all day for a gift in a Superdrug bag.

Not as good as mach 3. The blades are too close together to deal with anything more than a days growth. The angle of the blades and the design of the back means they're hard to clean and sometimes you can only get one shave per blade.

I find that too. Back to Mach 3 for me.

That's what I ended up doing. I was annoyed at myself for binning the Mach 3, but I got a deal on a new one with 12 packs of blades. TBH, I was hoping that's what this BA was going to be..

I am using these and quite happy with them. Ordered them again, yet to receive.

I guess it differs from person to person. May be worth a try for you.

Thanks for the comforting post, fingers crossed so!
The price they're going for in tesco is fairly hefty

I placed an order and checked out as a guest on Saturday. Got an email confirming order, order number etc. Money was taken from my account (in holding). Looks like it was returned to my account today. No contact from Superdrug or anything. I presume since they are still in stock that they didn't sell out..

Same as - I ordered them in the last two promos they did and find them really good.
Last ages - I don't take records but one could easily last the three weeks they suggest. I shave everyday Mon to Fri and usually once at weekend.
Out of maybe 12 there was one which was not up to much.
With all blades I find it good to use a different type even now and again - ie after maybe 8 or 10 weeks using fusion would then use a mack for a few weeks.

24 blades arrived today, went to put them away, and I realised I had 21 left from a previous BA.

I need to stay away from here until 2019!

    Thanks OP.

Not a BA, but got an email from Superdrug to say my account info, but not payment details may have been hacked.

The only time I bought from here was the Fusion deals, so others might be in the same boat.

They recommend changing your password, but interestingly, say:
We believe the hacker obtained customers’ email addresses and passwords from other websites and then used those credentials to access accounts on our website. The hacker claims that they have obtained information on approximately 20,000 customers but we have only seen 386.

Never use the same password on different sites!

Edit; thinking on it though, it's petty lax from superdrug that they'd allow such a volume of attempted logins without an alarm going off.
