Hi all question regarding handrails, does an external handrail have to follow the pitch of a stairs or is it ok if it is between 900-1000mm height across it?

I have a 3 step precast stairs, handrails extend 300mm beyond both top and bottom step but I'm wondering does the rail have to be Parallel with the flight of the angle or is it ok within the above heights?

Should ideally be the same distance from top & bottom step. Show us a picture?

I don't have a picture, but you are right, but what I mean is the angle of the handrails should it match the angle of stairs or can it be slightly different as long as the rails are within 900-1100mm?

I would say at the same angle as the steps. Think of someone visually impaired, they expect the steps and rails to follow a uniform slope.
