I turned on my tap 2 mins ago and the water came out very quickly and in spurts, now it seems the water is a yellow colour. Not like really yellow, but just enough to see it.

I had some water in a glass from earlier and the colour is definitly not as clear. Has anyone else noticed this, I am in South Dublin. I looked up the internet and it says if it continues it most likely from the city's supply.

Is this some sort retaliation for the Irish public refusing to pay water charges?

Happens when there's a break or works. We (D14) had it about 3 months ago.

    Miltown
    Walkinstown
    Glendown Avenue
    Tallaght
    Dublin 16
    Orlagh Avenue

All currently under works by IW.

    Report it. http://www.boards.ie/ttforum/1643

It's possible there is clay or other material getting into your supply. How happy are you with the pipe from the street to your tap?

If drinking this water, boil it first.

No, it's the other way around. People wouldn't pay (by whatever means) to upgrade the antiquated system.
