Hva e backed two at York at huge prices .

4 05 Inglebey Angel 40/1. last win in 2015 off 94 runs off 69 tomorrow. Beaten 10l on seasonal reapperance and should improve for the run. Well in, will like the ground and distance shouldnt be a problem. Should out run its odds. 1pt ew

5 15 See the sun looks big at 33s for a twice C and D winner off higher marks, Down to a mark of 80 has had 2 stink runs lately but gets its conditions if running anything near its best form has a decent shout. 33/1 looks big and has seen some support in the market already. I pt ew

Went for Arabian hope in the 2:55. At York today. Stepping into listed company but of bottom weight and with Josey Gordon on board I think it has a great chance. Won it's last 2 and doesn't have the experience of all the others in the race but I think this is looking like a horse that can win a few races staying from today.

My local bookie refused to take a double on The Baba Elephant and See Double You at Hexham today. Make of that what you will.

Da Baba Elephant wins as fav around 2/1. Richard Johnson jockey on both. My gut is telling me See Double You is past it but what de hell do I know. Stuck a wee bit on him anyway for the laugh.

See double you drifted out to 7-1 but back into 9-2 now. I've two singles and the double, first single paid for the lot so fingers crossed now.

Christ, that's mad. He was tailed off as they round that bend at the top of the the famous Hexham hill turning into the straight.

I am glad I was not the only one that thought that. 1 mile out, it was dead and buried from even placing.

Seems like the real money was on the other horse ridden by Dickie Johnson. Fair play to connections for landing a bit of a touch but it's a bit obvious that middle of the road jockeys are all of a sudden replaced by the Champion Jockey.

Especially when the horse has so much in hand, I could've rode it myself

They're at it again today. I think Da Baba Elephant is a cert, so I took 5/4 on it. I have no idea about the other plunge horse, The Trigger.

    https://www.racingpost.com/news/talk-of-the-tracks/johnson-and-mcnally-quizzed-over-jockey-switch-as-gamble-is-foiled/290538
A big gamble on Northern Irish raider The Trigger came unstuck in the 2m4½f handicap hurdle when the eight-year-old, backed from 10-1 in the morning down to 2-1 favourite on course, could finish only fourth behind Overtoujay.

However, controversy surrounded the plunge as Jonathan England, the jockey originally booked for the ride, was replaced by Richard Johnson and the substitution aroused interest from the BHA integrity department.

The stewards at the Lincolnshire course held an inquiry into the jockey change prior to the race given that The Trigger had been the subject of a significant move in the betting. After interviewing Johnson and trainer Ronan McNally and noting their explanations, a report was forwarded to the head office of the BHA.

The BHA were unable to comment on the matter on Friday evening, as the referral has made the case an ongoing investigation.

In the race itself, the gamble looked like being landed as The Trigger landed in front at the final hurdle, but he found little on the run-in and eventually had to settle for fourth spot, beaten around a length by the Adam Pogson-partnered winner.

Johnson and McNally enjoyed better fortune in the 3m novice handicap chase as De Baba Elephant found what was required to outgun long-time leader Washed Ashore to follow up his recent Hexham win.
