Penalty points and fine - how long?

    Hi folks,

    Recently I was pulled over by the Guards for a minor driving offence.

    Was told I would be receiving fine in the post. However, none has arrived. It's been approximately four weeks.

    Is there a limit to when one can receive notice in the post?

    I think its up to 6 months but not 100% sure on that. Don't worry its on its way to you.

    6 months seems awfully long...supposing I was to move (which is the intention within that time frame) I wonder.
