Garage insulation advice please

    Hello forum,

I have a 13' x 8' (inside dimensions) breeze block garage with apex slate roof.
It's got a double glazed window and double glzed timber door.

I want to make it into a man-cave / workshop with decent insulation so I can use it on winter evenings... so need to insulate it.
    It's wired for power already.

Roof rafters are 4"x2" with 15" spacing and I can see the roofing felt.
Internal walls are bare block with damp course laid at ground level.
Floor is floating raft of concrete, about 1ft deep and no insulation.

I want to insulate the roof into the apex so I can have the maximum internal space.
I also want to insulate walls and floor.
The floor insulation can't be more than 4cm total including floor covering because the door opens inward.

    What are my options please?

    I was considering...

75mm Xtratherm for the roof - to leave 1" air gap between tile and insulation.

52mm insulated plasterboard for the walls.

10mm thermal board with Lino covering the floor.

but this comes to about €600 in materials alone...
Can anyone recommend an alternative/cheaper approach?

    Thanks a million folks.

    Ray
