    Howdy,

I'm after a bike bag/case if someone has one gathering dust or could lend me one. I will need it for around 3 weeks in July from 8th till 30th. I dont want to buy one as I'm pretty sure this will be the first/last time I will be bringing my bike with me on holidays. I need something that is easy to carry around the airport as I will be with my two kids.

    Thanks

I'm in NCD and have a bag you could borrow. It has wheels at one end for dragging and two wheel bags inside

Cheers lads, I'm actually looking at one bag on CRC http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ie/en/lifeline-eva-bicycle-pod/rp-prod134710

Will that be good enough to protect carbon frame (within a reason obviously).

That looks a decent bag/box to me and a good price I got a CRC one that is soft and a bit larger than that, but has done me well.
You're welcome to try or borrow it if you're stuck

Mine is a soft bag that I have used a few times, never had any issues (maybe I have been lucky).

Its important to protect the bike inside the bag as much as possible.

If you have old hubs insert them where the wheels would be, stops forks + rear from being damaged if anything heavy is put on the bag.
    Remove pedals, seat post.
Get pipe lagging and cut to size for all the frame tubes.

Should I deflate the tires fully/a bit or leave them at 100psi ?
