Hello, I am about to  switch mortgage from another provider to BOI,

I am just wondering if there is a waiting period before I can apply for a home improvement loan after drawing down the mortgage?

I know with the other provider once I drewdown the mortgage initially there was a 6 month waiting period before I could borrow any more money and im just wondering if it is the same with BOI as i'd like to renovate the house,

    Kind regards

    Good Morning frankyboy1986,

Thank you for getting in touch with us here on Boards.ie.

As each and every lending application is reviewed on a case by case basis, it would be best to speak to your Mortgage Adviser regarding additional lending. You can make an appointment for this in your local branch here. Alternatively, you can request a call back from our team here

    Thank you again,
    Elaine
