What is Lanzarote like in September/October?

In terms of crowd (OAPs??) and weather?

    Thanks

Weather is still amazing in September.

Not as busy as August but still lively at night and at the beach during the day.

It's fine in September. Still busy with a mix of young families, couples and OAPs there that time of year. In truth, it's a year-round resort so you get a mix all the time pretty much, but there's certainly less school-going age kids about in late September. In October you're heading into mid terms, so more kids and families and prices go up accordingly.

Weather-wise, you'll still be looking and mid to high 20's during the day, perhaps overcast in the morning and always a change of a shower here or there, but that can happen anytime (it rained last night, for example). In the evenings it can be chilly when the sun goes down and the breeze picks up, but that's relatively speaking and it's still warmer than here! Once that breeze dies off, it's usually pretty pleasant again.
