Hi can anyone offer advice as the revenue office themselves are gone off to investigate for me as they don't know!!

We got approved for the help to buy but it says "Expiry 31/12/2017".
We are buying a house that won't be ready until June 2018...how does this affect us? We'll be signing contracts and paying deposit before end of year but how does this expiry date impact us? If we won't get the HTB we can't afford this house so its worrying me!

From the Revenue website, the HTB scheme doesn't run out until 31/12/19

The HTB aid you receive is actually a tax refund based on your income tax paid over the previous 4 years. At the end of the 2017 tax year, 2013 falls out of the mix and is replaced by 2017.
