RTÉ CHANNELS ON THE MOVE AGAIN

Hi.

Just to let everyone know that RTÉ channels are moving from 12.266 H to 11.836 H.

New labels

6124 - RTEÉ1 (not currently active)
6126 - RTÉ2
6128 - RTÉ Jr

(at least I thinnk that is what they are).  12.266H looks like it is being cleared out.

6126 and 6128 are active.

Hello everyone

Just5 a reminder that virtually all Irish channels have now moved from 12.266H.  Only RTÉ Radio still on there.

By the end of the week maybe on Thursday, the mux will be empty.  A quick question - has anyone noticed a reduction in picture quality?  The TV services are 7 out of a total of 16 on one frequency - now 11.836 H.

Having reviewed the thread:

The frequencies of channels are not a state secret and it would create absurdities if they were not allowed to be discussed. I am satisfied that no charter breach has occured

They've disappeared from the Sky EPG as of this morning. Have RTE ended an agreement with sky to carry these channels, does anyone know?

They should be still there. Reboot your Sky digibox.

You can probably rest assured that in the event of RTE's carriage agreement with Sky coming to an end - not entirely implausible given certain noises that have been coming out of Montrose, but nonetheless in my view unlikely to happen - it will be well flagged in advance and there will be a lot of noise in the media about it.

Just plug it out for about 20 seconds
