Hey there - I moving to Ireland and looking specifically for an ET school for my six year old. I would like find out if anyone has got any experiences or advice on any of the above ET schools so that I can make a balanced decision as to which school I should send my child to.

Welcome to Boards. Moving this to Dublin County North where it's better suited, I believe.

Are you sure you can get a place? Most or all the above ET are over subscribed.

Honestly, whichever one you can get them into. They're all massively over-subscribed. Ours ended up having to go to St Pats in Donabate. It's a fine school and there was no issue with our kids sitting out religion but I'd really have preferred to avoid the Catholic indoctrination completely.

I think the ET schools tend to be oversubscribed due to parents being able to register children pretty much at birth (or even before given the hysteria over school places).

I know of several couples who applied for pretty much every school in the area with the ET place being a fall back if they didn't get their child into St Sylvester's or Oliver Plunkett's etc. As a result, I know children who got places at ET Holywell very late in the admissions process, despite the 2017 intake being officially filled for a couple of years.
