Careful now, we don't want to offend any certain groups of people.

Dirtbags. Everyone knows it isn't a case of a few bad apples, more like 1 or 2 borderline gone off apples in a barrell of rotten ones!

Thankfully we got the names of the two dogs, Daily Mail leaving no stone unturned as usual.

Yes, they are despicable, but we need to care because too many people read and believe the crap they print.

Forgive me if I don't buy into Daily Mail hysteria about Irish travellers beating up little of women.

The government should set up a scheme where anyone can apply for funding for deadbolted height restricting barriers for any private land that suffers unwanted visitors. Similarly, every local authority should be given grants for highly secure gates onto any public space, even those on the side of the road.

Ah yes, the old "it's not what is said but who says it" defence.

Here is a link from Metro if that works better for you ;)

Fair play to her that was a brave thing to do. We really need more people like her willing to stand up to those bullies

Don't worry folks, the DM is reporting it, so it obviously didn't happen and zero truth in it.
Video - shopped, had to be.

tiger55 - Don't try to bait another poster into this thread that you are having a disagreement with on another thread. If you wish to do that, take it to PM.

Course they are but they are not allowed bring their vehicles in and set up camp.

This woman is very brave and I hope the people responsible are dealt with. Travellers have a bad reputation for a reason.

Are travellers allowed to remove the locks from barriers put up to keep vehicles out?

Forgive me if I don't buy into Daily Mail hysteria about Irish travellers beating up little of women.

Nowhere in that article was the nationality or ethnicity of the travellers mentioned, 0 references to "Irish".

Well done though for the attempt to discredit the story through a swipe at the publisher.

Sadly they most likely were Irish travellers, thankfully the majority of Brits understand that most Irish people are nothing like "the travelling community".

It is bad enough that these scumbags tear up our country, it is an embarrassment that we are in any way connected to them when they take their "culture" to other countries.

I'd hope so but have seen too many Facebook posts about dodgy ''Irish men'' going around trying to lure people into scams. I have not seen the distinction made very often.
