    hi

if anyone could help. we had an ip camera installed on our farm. the signal is sent from our home down to the farm, about 700metres away.

when we turn on the camera it works then maybe 2 hours later it's gone. stops sending a signal so we've had to put a timer on it to restart every hour or so.

would the router receiver on the farm be the problem. the internet provider said it's nothing on they're side. the guy who installed said he can't figure it out.

    Any help is appreciated

What brand is it? Does it switch off (led go out) or does it loose signal?

700m is pretty far for WiFi - unless its got some impressive antanae - You could try making a parabolic reflector for it out of tin foil - this cheap trick really works well as it makes the signal more directional instead of going everywhere.

Also make sure the router is positioned away from anything that could block the signal(wires, concrete etc.)
